Artist: Hendra Lim
Birth: Sukabumi (west java), September 23rd
Born from a happy religious family, he has his love of art feeling from his father who passed away couple years ago and inherit him with knowledge, spiritual and way of life.
His father was a poet and was an editor in an art magazine in the '70.
He began to draw since high school and started to paint on canvas after he finished high school and he learnt to paint by himself (autodidact), and sometimes met with artist community in Sanggar Barli when he was still in Bandung.
His inspiration to paint is baroque painting and also Salvador Dali and in his early years his works are religious paintings and also custom portrait.
